This year, we celebrate a Harvest Festival, taken from the spectacular colors and prints from the Benartex fabric line of the same name.
The Autumn Jubilee will have Mason Jars as a Harvest Festival theme throughout the month. I can’t wait to show you all I have been doing with them. So, fair warning, hit the thrift stores and stock up!
For some interesting history, and some help on identifying the age of some jars, see my post on the History of Mason Jars. You might find a valuable one as you are picking up an old glass treasures. I wrote the post during covid lockdown, and it is full of ideas on ways to use these versatile glass gems.
I love this one with the snowflake embossed motif. I have used it for mixes, but I cannot bear to give it away. So, gifts are given in other ones I find at the thrift store. We’ll have some mix recipes during Autumn Jubilee.
We’ll have sewing and crafting projects, and some ideas on using your embroidery machine.

I spent a good chunk of yesterday filling mason jars with grape jelly. YUM! It will be fun to have more ideas. I do have to search regularly for pints as that is the size I give away (full of yumminess) most often. Looking forward to the Jubilee fun.

Hi Carole, thank you and your sponsers so much for offering this fun event once again! I am an active canner and use Mason jars all the time. In just a week or so, my daughters and I will gather to turn 2 bushels of apples into pure applesauce. I preserve it in mason jars, of course.

Well, Carole. I took the first step and added the Autumn Jubilee button to my blog LOL. We just arrived home, a 12-hour drive, but I’m going to try to get a post up for tomorrow morning. Hi Carole, Love the “Ball” embroidery! I’ve done my share of canning over the years, but am now downsizing. The old jars are a good value for holiday crafts the younger people like to make. I am looking forward to more of your lovely designs. Last year our leaves froze on the trees in Inland WA state, so very little fall color. This year is much prettier, be well.

Wow sounds like a lot of fun. I love crafting and quilting. This is the first I have heard of the Autumn Jubliee. I hope to have time to read the post everyday. I am just getting back into quilting. It has been a couple of years since I was able to spend time working on my UFOs. I hope to get a couple of them finished by the end of the year. And I will probably start more projects than I finish.
But thats Ok. I have a lot of catching up to do.
