Autumn Jubilee 2019 Begins Today!

Autumn Jubilee is here!!  Get ready for a fun filled month of ideas and sew alongs with a fabulous line up of projects and prizes.  I have been sewing and crafting for several weeks now, getting all my ducks in a row for this event.  We’ll have a quilt along, a sew along, a wool stitch along, gardening, recipes, books, tablescape and crafting projects, enough for a whole month.  And this year I have lined up more prize giveaways than ever before!  Some of the links are affiliate links, thank you for using my links when you can.  Update – If you are finding this post after October 3rd, click on the blog title above to see all the posts so far for the month, then follow my blog so you won’t miss the next one!

Previous year’s Autumn Jubilees have been loads of fun, and those projects remain free on the blog forever.  Like this quilt along Pumpkin Star…

and these cards….

and this wool stitch along project all from 2018.

This tablet cover sew along is from 2017.

You can go back and see how to do a seasonal window valence from 2016.

Make the pumpkin and leaf runner from 2016…

and see how to use the same elements in a table topper and mini quilt.

We’ll make more projects this year including a quilt-along with a new runner design, stamp more cards, continue the Teacup Quilt Along, enjoy a new recipe, plant more bulbs in the garden and much more!  These quilts are Stars on Autumn Lane from 2017, the patterns are still available.  Just click on the Autumn Jubilee category on the sidebar to see previous year’s events.

This year, Autumn Jubilee has four Premier Sponsors offering prizes valued at $100 or more!!  Plus, everyone is eligible to win, anywhere in the world.  If the sponsor cannot ship overseas, and an international winner is drawn first, I’ll send a backup prize to that person from my stash of fabrics and books, and draw again.  Please thank these wonderful companies with your business this month.  All drawings will be open for 5 days.  Winners will be notified via email and have 48 hours to respond.

Returning Premier Sponsor Hobbs Batting will send one lucky winner four Tuscany throw size battings!  Get Hobbs at Amazon, and Fat Quarter Shop.

Returning Premier Sponsor Aurifil Threads will award a large spool box of their Festive Collection to one lucky winner.  Find Aurifil threads at Fat Quarter Shop, and Amazon.

Returning Premier Sponsor Fat Quarter Shop is giving away TWO gift certificates worth $50 each!!!  Check out Today’s Flash Sale too.

Returning Premier Sponsor, MadamSew will once again offer their spectacular 32-Piece Ultimate Presser Foot Set valued at $119.  It is on sale now for 50% off with free shipping if you just cannot wait!

New to Autumn Jubilee, but returning sponsor of our Safelight project, Impression Obsession is giving away a $25 gift certificate to their fabulous online store of acrylic and rubber stamps, dies and more.

New sponsor Primitive Homespuns Wool and Needleworks is on board with a $25 gift certificate, PLUS a bundle of wool fabrics!!  I have ordered from PHWool before, and their wool fabrics are just scrumptious.  More about that when we get to the stitch along.

New sponsor and new affiliate C&T Publishing is here with a giveaway of a $50 gift certificate for their online bookstore.  See the new fall catalog on their website including a wonderful new wool book publishing this month.

Returning sponsor Quilter’s Dream is sending a lucky winner a Queen size Dream Green batting.

Returning Sponsor Electric Quilt is back with a special 25% off code for a lucky winner to purchase anything they like, including EQ8!  The code will be good for one order of whatever size.  On EQ8, this is a value of $59!!

Returning sponsor (and friend Christine) North Carolina based Backside Fabrics will send a lucky winner a gift certificate to their online store worth $50!!

Returning sponsor Milk Street has a new cookbook called The New Rules publishing on October 15th, just in time for Autumn Jubilee!!  Someone will get a free copy!!

Moda sent a layer cake by one of my favorite designers, Holly Taylor, called Fresh Off the Vine.  This line was from last fall, see her newest collection called Winter Manor at Fat Quarter Shop!  I have the layer cake, and will mail it to the lucky international winner if one is drawn for another prize that has a limited geographic area.

Returning sponsor Costa Farms has come through with a perfect item for Autumn Jubilee, a Pumpkin Planter with a live Sansevieria plant.  This one is limited in geographic locations they can ship.  But again, if someone wins out of their shipping area, I’ll send you a Moda prize from my stash and draw again.

New sponsor Needle and Foot Fine Fabrics will offer a $25 Gift Certificate to their store. This one is going to be super fun as Bernie sent me some fabrics she will bundle, and I have a project to share with you using them.

Returning sponsor Inspired LED is giving away THREE lighting kits for your sewing machine, along with the extension kits!!  Who couldn’t use more lighting?  This one is limited to USA due to electrical differences, but if an international winner is chosen, I’ll send you something else and draw again.

So let’s get this event started with the first giveaway today!  Olfa will send a Splash Cutter in your choice of color along with an Endurance Blade to one lucky person.  I have two of these and love them!  Hurry, this drawing ends Saturday night at midnight.

  30. Another stunning Autumn Jubilee, so many goodies, your list of sponsors is amazing, and shows how wonderful the event is . We are in spring down here, but it feels like your Autumn, with snow in places, hail. cold winds and a few dark mornings.

Your Autumn Jubilee looks like just the ticket! The projects sound fun and that there are prizes that may be won is just more icing on the cake. Thanks so much for putting this together. I am really looking forward to the fun.

  33. dezertsuz

Hi, Carole! Thank you for another year of wonderful celebration of the cooling of the land! My favorite part each year is seeing what creative things you’ve designed. You never seem to run out of new ways to celebrate autumn/fall. Thanks in advance for what you’ve created this year. I know it will be great! I’ve shared the event on QuiltBOM blog. You’ll get a ping, I’m sure.

    1. dezertsuz

Olfa prizes I’d love – 24 x 36 Navy Olfa mat – I think the darker color might be easier for my eyes. I also like the 12″ ruler that has so many angles marked on it. I think that could be great for drawing quilting lines.

  34. Nancy C

wow! this looks fun! I am going to go to the side bar to check out the pumpkin pattern from last year and am looking forward to this years Autumn Jubilee

    1. Nancy C
