Dahlia Quilt for Bullington Gardens

I am delighted to present this vibrant wall hanging called Sunset Dahlia which will be raffled online to benefit Bullington Gardens in Hendersonville, NC.   The quilting is hand guided free motion and ruler work by machine.  Quilt measures 42 inches wide x 43 inches long.  The quilt is made of high quality quilting cotton fabric with a printed dahlia on the front, with individually quilted petals in a variety of designs.  There are four color changes for the front of the quilt, matching the fabric colors. The backing and binding fabric is bright yellow 100% cotton, with cotton batting.  The invisible wood slat hanging design means only two small nails in the wall.  Proceeds from the sale of this quilt will benefit Bullington Gardens.

My blog is a variety of subjects, a lot of quilting and sewing, but also tablescapes, recipes, book reviews, hand stitching, stamping cards, crafting, gardening, travel and mountain living. I enjoy crafting, and anything you can do with a glue gun I am on board to try. I like to paint too, at one point taking several oil painting classes. I have no talent for it, but I do it anyway. Digital cameras have saved me a fortune with my photography hobby. I adore lots of flowers on my porch, and nothing beats a homegrown tomato incorporated into a favorite dish. I am a longtime foodie, with a kitchen full of gourmet ingredients and interesting gadgets. I like reading books, and have several reviews already on this blog, with a lot more to come!
