The last post on our Christmas in July event brings a few more ideas for crafting and sewing fun. Read on for holiday inspiration you can start now.
Make adorable sewing ornaments by wrapping empty thread spools with glittery trim, and adding some cute embellishments to the top and bottom.

Use your embroidery machine to stitch out small motifs or holiday words. Then use a large covered button kit to mount the stitchery, adding trims and a ribbon hanger to finish. Fussy cut motifs like the ornament in the center work well, too.
These look wonderful on the tree.
Small cross stitch motifs work well too. If you cannot find the large covered button kits, simply sew a border on your cross stitchery, sew to a backing right sides together, turn and stuff. Topstitch the edge. Add trim as you like.
Mount your stitching project in a small hoop and add a lace trim. Here, I glued green lace to the top of the hoop, and white lace to the bottom. The ribbon hanger is tied to the screw.
Use a pretty print to make an apron for yourself or gifts. This one is made with a poinsettia print. See the pattern on a post I did for Autumn Jubilee, just use a Christmas print instead of the autumn theme – Kitchen Apron. For those with an embroidery machine, you could embroider a Christmas sentiment at the top, like I did for the Canning Apron.
Make a Twisted Snowflake Ornament with elegant black and gold, or use white and silver. The color combinations could be any you like.

It is so easy, just fussy cut a hexagon center, then put on four borders of varying widths. Love your Christmas in July event. The variety has something for everyone! I appreciate the inspiration which has gotten me thinking what I need to make (and for who). You deserve a break. The Table Topper is hanging so I can try to envision how to “Quilt as Desired” on my domestic machine.

Thank you for a lovely Christmas in July! I was on vacation, but tried to follow along! I plan on making those Christmas bells! And I could make a couple canning aprons as gifts!! I made the hexagonal table topper during Fall Fortnight last year, and it would definitely be fun in Christmas prints. Thanks for a fun series of Christmas in July posts. My all time favorite table topper is the hexagon one. I made a two season one last year, Halloween and Fall. I’ve made that topper multiple times. It is fun and quick and easy.

I’m wondering about a square leaf pattern that you sold for Autumn Jubilee 2021 that I bought. It has a star with a 9 patch in the center. I only have one page with cutting instructions. Use the Autumn Jubilee category on the sidebar to pull all those posts from several years and navigate back to the ones you are missing. The center of the 2021 Quilt Along Table Topper was the star you have. The leaf block was a separate post, and the finishing was a third post in the quilt along.
