Our Scrap Dance for 2015 is done, and here is the last update with the finishes posted on Flickr. Time for a virtual trunk show. So many wonderful color combinations! Thank you to everyone that participated, posted progress pictures, and finishes!!
Mary was one of the first to finish.
Carol did this fantastic quilting on her Scrap Dance.
Here’s Heidi’s wonderfully quilted too.
Once again, here are Susan’s lullaby quilts.
Here’s Shahan’s runner, …
and Wilma’s lullaby quilt.
I love the colors in Cathy’s quilt.
Here’s Emily’s finish.
I think this color combination from Edy is wonderful!! Everyone knows how I love that autumn palette. Fabulous.
Brenda finished hers too, love the blue background.
If you would like to make a Scrap Dance quilt, the pattern is available on My Patterns page.
The extended deadline has now passed, and a winner has been chosen by random drawing. I put all the names of those with finished quilts shown on Flickr into a basket and picked one out. The winner is …..
Cathy DiGuiseppi! Congratulations, and I sent you an email to get your address.
Thank you to all who participated in Scrap Dancing! I am working on the next design now, and will start a new Scrap Dance 2 in January. We’ll use the same Flickr group, so if you are already a member, nothing more to do but gather your scraps and get ready to have some fun! If you want to join the fun, just log onto Flickr and ask to join the Scrap Dance group.
Congrats to all the women for those gorgeous quilts and quilting!
Beautiful! love the cream and white backgrounds, and I think a dark background (burgundy, black, forest, navy) would especially pop! I am in the midst of househunting, so only one project at a time right now, sigh! but I have plans! I’d love to do this one in a single color way, reds or blues and white….

Oh…. my….
All of these are just spectacular. Each one.
You are so inspiring Carole. I want my old life back, but I do not remember what that was.
I did start on this. I will email you what I have. not much.
Thank you to all of you ladies that shared your creativity and imagination to make each of yours with such beauty. I am in awe of your focus and talent. 😀 😛
Oh, my goodness, I love it more and more every time I see it. The pattern is definitely going on my Craftsy wish list!
What delightful creations, and an absolutely lovely pattern—I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. It boggles my mind that while I was just stumbling about amongst the chaos of a kitchen renovation, then the putting to rights, THEN the discovery of an electrical problem which occasioned the taking down of several of the cabinets, etc. etc.—-so many people were dedicating their serene, creative days to such artistry. Stitches from such talented hands, and such colour combinations and the LIGHT that shines from them all—I’m captivated and charmed all at once.
You all are sublime artists, and THANK YOU for showing me your wonderful gifts with needle and thread. What marvelous creations.

Oh what fun to see these as a show! Congrats to Cathy, and Thank you for all the fun Carole!
Carole, Congratulations first and foremost to you for designing, organizing and inspiring this entire project and group from start to finish! Without you none of these beautiful spectacular quilted masterpieces would have been created!
Congratulations to Cathy on winning your excellent prize package for finishing the project! I hope that at some time in the future you will share with us what you do with the fabrics.
Next, to everyone who posted photos along the way and participated….I could never pick a favorite because each one of you have created such a beautiful quilt! I am very honored to be a part of this group and look excitedly forward to our next gathering in January when Carole will begin giving us the first step to the next Mystery Quilt Along! Until then…Happy Holidays Everyone! Have a wonderful creative time! Brenda
Absolutely gorgeous! I just went and bought the pattern! 😀
Oh, I missed it! But I see you will start up again in January, so I will follow the blog closely to be part of the fun.
Congrats to Kathy! Fun project, I like all of the quilts I have seen posted. Looking forward to 2016.
Lovely lot of quilts, and all so different despite using the same base pattern.
This was a great quilt mystery and you kept the steps “manageable” as we went along. I love the pattern, and will likely do it again in the future. I really enjoyed seeing how everyone did their quilting. It is always a difficult decision for me, as I don’t have a long arm, and FMQ is not something I do very well. So, seeing all that straight line quilting affirms for me that it DOES look great, and there are so many ways to approach a project. Looking forward to your next Scrap Dance. My 2″ box of squares is overflowing…….
