We are members of two MINI clubs, and the Upstate MINIs of South Carolina is doing a fundraiser this weekend. The beneficiary is the Greenville County Animal Care, a no-kill shelter. You know I am always up for helping animals, so when the call went out for items to donate, I got busy. I combed through some of the quilts, and selected this Stars on Autumn Lane quilt for donation. If you liked this quilt from a previous Autumn Jubilee, you can bid on it!

Then I went to the stamping bench and had a field day with dog and cat themes.
The little truck on the right has dogs in the back, on top of doggy printed paper. Then sentiment inside says “thought you could use a little pickup”. The card on the left features pet word paper, with a kitty sticker over the sentiment box.
These cards were made with layering papers and images. The left one has cording, and bits of handmade paper. On the right is a birthday card with a cat theme.
The cards are appropriate for all occasions, most can be used for multiple things like friendship, support, birthday greetings or get well.
I made a total of 12. All have animal themes and the envelopes all have paw prints.
Some have funny things inside.
Some are more generic in theme and sentiments.
I think these two are my favorites. I used the last of the big paw stickers I had.
I put all the cards in a basket, added a tulle bow and a little dog paw print metal tag. These are available at the auction too.
You can bid on these items and more at the Online Auction, just click on this link – Upstate MINI Club Online Auction – to see the rules and scroll to the bottom then click on the auction button to see all the offers. If you are local, the pickup is at the shelter on Monday, November 9. If you bid on and win, the Stars on Autumn Lane Quilt, I’ll pay to ship it to you. I can also be a relay for you to get items you win if you live in Western NC. So bid away!

Lovely generous donations!
Your quilt is wonderful, of course, and the cards are just adorable!!! I love the positive pants saying and the terrier with the ribbon—oh, gosh—I just can’t pick a favorite! I’m working on my AJ quilt top. Have the pieced border ready and found fabric in the stash for the final border. Have to pace myself, though, cause I over did it at the machine the other day and that upset my arthritis. So I’ll see what I can get done today for a while. Have to start my TG cards soon—I love making them and sending them since I love TG so much. It will be a very different holiday this year, but still things to be thankful for.
These are terrific items, Carole! I know what I’ll be doing this weekend. 😉
Those are great contributions. I hope you raise a lot of money! Enjoy the beautiful weekend.
Love those cards! I hope the auction raises a lot of money for the shelter…great cause!!
You are truly all heart. What a lovely quilt and basket of cards and this fundraiser is for such a great cause. I’m heading over now to place some bids.
You are the Bunny in the Positive Pants – always doing something wonderful. I am trying to bid on the auction but having a little trouble signing up? Any suggestions? Can I bid without being a member?
Lots of really fabulous things on auction as well as your cards and quilt!!!!!
Super cute cards for a good cause, Carole!!
Trying to bid but can’t get in. Do I have to join the mini club? Thanks for any help.
am so sorry, but the club website guru didn’t realize that a log-in would be needed, he thought we could just do a bid and email address, and that apparently isn’t working. They are working on it, but I’ll update you on Sunday if they can fix that. Right now, only members can bid.
I did multiple clicks and got into the auction, and there are some great items, but of course your quilt was THE BEST. However, the items in the extreme right column did not show except for a sliver of the column. I know you did not want to make a career of reporting issues, but this is one you may want to pass on also,
Hello Carole, You have the biggest heart and deserve a high five for once again helping tremendously with an organization that is wonderful. Both of your donations are fantastic and should bring in very appreciated funds!! Thank you for sharing and have a great day!
Lovely donations of the quilt and cards. Hope they raise lots.
