Christmas Cars Tablescape

Last year we spent a truly delightful weekend in Lake Lure with our Mini car club.  During the gift exchange, I got this adorable cookie jar.  While I was in Greensboro last summer, I found some soup mugs with cars on them, and an idea for a tablescape formed.  I put the cookie jar on a new table topper that I just finished.

I wrapped some greenery around the base and added a couple of cute Christmas moose.

The table topper has two blocks, a tree and a bell.  The pattern for it is scheduled to publish at MadamSew next week, and I’ll have more on that when it does.

Isn’t he cute?  I have two of them.

These adorable mugs looked like Mini Cooper cars to me, although My Sweet Babboo says they are not.  No matter, they are fun.  I can’t actually use them, though, as they are slated as silent auction items for our charity event.

But until they go, I can enjoy them on the table.  I put them on red salad plates atop white dinner plates and red chargers on green placemats.

Every day flatware is added.

My Christmas tree spreaders are put on the table, as I like to actually use them.

Love your tablescapes! I have lots of tablerunners and tabletopper for every season and holiday. I give Amazon Prime to my son and his wife for Christmas. I love the First Look books and shows. My son likes the game credits or something like that. Everyone likes the free shipping. I think it’s a great gift and easy to wrap! Happy Holidays to you! Thanks for sharing.

  2. Your table looks so cute! Love the Mini Cooper center piece you created. I used to go all out for Christmas decor, but with the kids all out and gone each which way I don’t do too much anymore. Mostly LIGHTS….never enough Christmas lights for me.
    Merry Christmas

Hello Carole, This is such a fun table setting you have created! I love it! It instantly brings smiles and would bring about great conversation starters. I adore the Cookie Jar and the Moose they are so fun together. Great job once again, Carole! Thank you so much for sharing your daily setting table. Have as much fun creating and setting your major table! Have a fabulous day!

Looks like a great place for luncheon with friends! And right by the window, too. You already know I don’t decorate my table with anything – the boys are lucky to have clean dishes. LOL

If you consider a sewing machine to be fresh and natural, yes. LOL It’s my spare for when friends come, and the one I use for my WFQ. I’d have to live a whole different lifestyle or repurpose most of my house in order to have tablescapes. Maybe someday. =) I do enjoy looking at the beauties you create, though.
