I have had such a great time reading all your comments this month! Although there are too many to respond to every one, I want you all to know that they have been so fun, and some very heartwarming, thank you! That brings me to the winner of the out-of-print Gooseberry Patch gardening book, For Bees and Me. If you didn’t win, Amazon has some for just a few dollars plus shipping, click on the title link or the picture below to see them and order your copy.
The winner of the book is Jill K, who lives in New Zeeland. She wrote “I am really enjoying your posts. I loved this latest post with all the various animals and bird life wandering freely – I do miss seeing this close up. I live in New Zealand and we are coming into Summer. I have just moved house and I am looking forward to putting my mark on the garden. Spring growth is lush at the moment. Thank you for sharing as it is always a pleasure to see what each issue brings.” I am thrilled to have another international winner!!
The surprise is I have decided to share my tomato seed bounty with a couple of readers.
For the first winner, I picked a second name from the gardening comments, and the winner is Nancy H. Nancy said “We moved into our home last fall. I am afraid this last spring and summer I did not get much done in my garden. My husband decided to rip out much of the shrubs that were present. I am hopeful for next spring when I will have retired and has more time to work in the yard.” I hope you want to grow tomatoes next year.
The second person will be chosen from comments on today’s post. Both seed winners will get some of my heirloom red tomato seeds along with some Cherokee Purple seeds, and maybe a surprise addition too. So leave a comment today about the Autumn Jubilee event overall, what you liked best, what you would like to see more of in the future, or anything you want to say. And again, thank you for reading, and commenting!!
