Time for an update and a look at what readers are doing with the blocks for Autumn Jubilee. It is so much fun to see all the ways you all are putting your leaves and pumpkins together.
Susan did a great job with her runner, starting with large leaves, and making the pumpkins small. Her quilting is wonderful too!
I have to show you Diann’s mini quilt and matching pillow. What a cozy corner, love those fabric choices!
Danice is doing both the runner with these marvelous scrappy leaves…
and the stitch along! Great progress!
I love these scrappy fall color leaves by Desert Sky Susan!
The pumpkin border on Judy’s runner is just the perfect choice.
Debbie finished her mini quilt….
and also is doing the stitch along.
Tomorrow will be the largest project in the series. Enter for me to quilt it for you by adding your progress photo to the Flickr group. It can be any of the quilt-along sizes, runner or topper doesn’t matter, just that you’d like to have me quilt it. I’ll choose a winner from the pictures on November 1. You don’t have to be ready to ship, just have a progress photo up. The winner will send their top and backing to me whenever it is ready to be quilted, and I will provide the batting, quilting with this pumpkins and leaves pantograph, and return shipping.
Depending on when I receive it, I’ll try to have it back to you in time to use on Thanksgiving. But if it is later, that’s OK. Timing will be up to the winner, so no pressure to finish unless you want it for this year.
All the giveaways are still open for comments, so if you missed one you still have time to enter.
What are you working on?
Oh I just love seeing everyone’s creations. This is so much fun. ‘So glad to have found your blog. Thank you for including my work in today’s post.
Love seeing all the progress pictures. I’m a bit behind due to another project deadline. But hope to get back on track this weekend I have a number of leaves & pumpkins cut and have been using them as leaders/enders on my other project.
Those are all wonderful. Autumn has certainly arrived!
Oh I can’t wait to get home and get busy!! Hoping that I can play a little on Sunday afternoon in my sewing room. Have a 3 day sit and sew next week too!
I love seeing everyone’s progress! It is so fun to see all the different fabric combos and layouts.
I love all the runners and the leaf stitch along! I don’t quilt or even sew anymore but I love seeing what others are doing.
It’s been a lot of fun to see how each person is working with the Autumn Jubilee theme. I’m all leafed out now and have a bunch of Christmas runners/table toppers in my closet, so am all ready for the next change in decor…
I would love to play in a spring/Easter themed project come Feb-Mar next year if you are so inclined. Thanks for all the great creative ideas you share.
So many wonderful fall quilts!
This is so much fun, Carole, I just posted two more pictures a few minutes ago of my embellished candle mat and my table runner. I need to work on more leaves today as I don’t have enough ready. Can’t wait to get started on the next project. Thanks again for all the fun and I’m enjoying seeing what others are coming up with. Everyone is doing a fantastic job!!
I can’t quite ‘quilt along’ but I’ve taken your larger leaf runner from earlier, and found oriental fall colors in fat quarters in Japan and am making a runner for my son and DIL. I have the top blocks almost finished (but I must admit, I think I’ll add in the small pumpkins ala Susan!) and hope to finish it this weekend. I’ve given my Big Star baby quilt to the recipient, have a wonky 9 patch ready to sash and finish. PLUS we finally started cutting on wedding quilt. My daughter took the fabric and is doing the cutting, I will do the piecing because we agreed one person’s 1/4 inch might not match another’s, heaven knows I don’t always match my own!
I finally got into the flickr site 😊. Posted a couple photos. All the ones here are super!!! Love Fall colors!
I enjoy all your posts, but this one was particularly appealing. I loved all the different versions and fabrics. Super post, Carole!
Beautiful pieces! WOW!
