Working on this Project Linus quilt. This will be sent to the folks at Fave Quilts for their Project Linus Charity Drive. I am excited that I was contacted by the editor and will be one of their new contributors!! I am working on the tutorial for making this quilt, and it will be up in early June.
Did you guess that it has a Farmer’s Market theme?
I need to quilt it and bind it, and then write up the instructions. So, definitely a work in progress Wednesday!
Happy Quilting!!

Awesome! Those food fabrics really lend themselves to a Farmer’s Market theme!
Thanks, quiltingjetgirl!
Love it! Are you basting it using Sharon Schambers’ method using two boards? I just found out about that last week and will definitely give a version of it a try. My least favorite part of quilting – the basting.
Hi Leah, no I don’t baste on the longarm, I float the top, run a row of stitching along the top and left side, and go.
Looks great! It definitely fits your theme. Can’t wait to see what it looks like after you work your quilting magic.
Thanks, Jasmine!
Love this….have a little munchkin I need to make a quilt for and this is just perfect for his mom to teach him veggies and fruit….have a bin of food fabrics I want to use. Will look forward to your instructions!
It will no doubt be a bountiful blessing to the child who receives it. Great quilt!
Visiting from SewCanShe’s SOS. Happy Sewing!
Thank you!! There will be a tutorial on it in a few days.
