Twist the night away with the latest scrappy gem in the Scrap Dance series! Use up those charm packs, and scrappy bits. This pattern looks best with a consistent background, either all one color, or very close whites or ecrus, or dark backgrounds with light blocks.

Scrap Dance Quadrille is an easy design using half square triangles in a tessellating setting. It is so easy, a beginner can make it! The pattern has the squares representing the dancers in their square formation, pinwheels for the ladies coming to the center, and hourglass elements for the spinning couples. It looks great in any color combination. Pattern is written for scraps from your scrap saver system. Instructions given for multiple sizes, and the first border which finishes the elements.

Pumpkin Star is an Autumn inspired pattern, and features pumpkins and stars in seasonal beauty. Pattern contains cutting and construction instructions for 20 blocks. This pattern uses up your scraps, and does not have yardage (updated, see paragraph below for approximate needs). Instead, it has cutting for the scrap squares or rectangles and background squares needed. Pull from your scrap saver systems, or cut up leftovers to get the required pieces. The quilt dimensions are given as an oversize throw (48 x 60) with ideas for table runners, along with a bonus worksheet and block table so you can make whatever size you like. The pattern assumes a knowledge of making half square triangles and basic assembly. Make your pumpkins orange, or gold, or any color you choose. The stars are designed to use up your Autumn color scraps. Your scraps cost the same as your cut pieces, so use them up in a creative way. This pattern can be made from the bits left over from other projects, and a scrappy border uses up even more.
For those without scrap stashes, you’ll need approximately these amounts for the throw size quilt.
1-1/2 yards of Background
14 Scrappy Fat Quarters (with six being orange/gold for pumpkins)
1 yard of print fabric for border and binding
Additional fabric for backing – about 3 yards

Scrap Dance Tango uses a lot of scraps in a creative way! Grab those boxes and bags for a fun design, originally a mystery quilt. Multiple sizes are given in the pattern from table topper up to king size.

“To The Nines” is an English idiom meaning “to perfection” or “to the highest degree” or to dress “buoyantly and high class” (Wikipedia). The name reflects the two sizes of nine-patches used in the quilt design. Pattern has three sizes (throw, twin and full size) appropriate for Quilts of Valor, and two options for color placement.
