We continue with our Fall Fortnight today with a festive fall tablescape that can serve from now into November, and even to Thanksgiving. Using the quilt-along table topper, I’ll show you my idea for an autumn delight table that serves as not only a seasonal place to have a meal, but also as decor to add to the turning leaves outside.

Our pub table is 52-inches square, so the quilt-along topper is just the right size with the border hanging off the edges.

Now, to set the table, I add festive fall place settings and a centerpiece. Note that the quilt design goes to the corners so much of it is visible around plates and napkins.

This year, I am emphasizing the gold color in the table topper fabrics with gold chargers and nutmeg spice napkins. The place settings have white stoneware dinner plates topped with my fall leaf salad plates. I brought out the gold flatware as the warm color goes perfectly with the fall theme.

The napkins are a deep gold held with my now-famous brown-beaded gold napkin rings.

My pumpkin bowls bring in just the right amount of orange. Crystal water glasses and individual salt and pepper shakers complete the place settings.

The centerpiece starts with faux leaf garlands arranged in a circle with a ceramic pumpkin in the center. Crackle glass candle holders flank the center on two sides.

Two smaller ceramic pumpkins round out the centerpiece display.

This table can be enjoyed all through the fall season.

In November, I’ll swap out the center pumpkin for a ceramic turkey, and add my turkey plates for a festive Thanksgiving table.

When November actually gets here, I’ll probably add more turkeys to the table with my Thanksgiving napkin rings and turkey place card holders. But for now, you get the idea, the tablescape will serve through the fall season whether you add turkeys or leave it with pumpkins. I love these turkey salad plates, and they do make the transition to Thanksgiving easy.

Beautiful table settings. Thanks for the inspiration! Mary D.
I don’t have table scapes.i use my kitchen table for quilting for as long as possible until someone mentions the ‘organized mess’ or it is no longer organized.
I would love the Accuquilt eq8 add on but my brain can’t seem to wrap around how eq8 was built. I’m always told to spend more time learning the ins and outs, buy the books and take the classes. I’ve got the books and have use the free information but my time is limited.
I always love your tablescapes. Unfortunately my tablet is always used for other things – currently using with a tabletop ironing board. I do want to make a full table cover.
Oh Carole — this is such a warm, lovely set of tablescapes. I am wild about the quilt (you are a brave soul or live with neat eaters to use such a beautiful quilt on the table! Don’t think I’ll pull that one off with my munchkins!). Fall dishes are always such fun and I love the pumpkin bowls, too. I think my fall dishes are some of my favorites and if I had yours, I know they would be!
