How are you doing with your Stashbusting? Holiday sewing may get us over the line with finished projects for Thanksgiving and Christmas, the New Year and winter, gifts and decorations.
I ended up donating the harvest panels back to the guild freebie table, so one yard out for that. I just ran out of juice for autumn projects.
I finished the table runner from the blocks I picked up at retreat. Counting out 2 yards for blocks, backing and binding.
The Trip Around London quilt was finished and will be auctioned off tomorrow evening. Counting out 5-1/2 yards.
The quick turkey motif table topper I sewed up for the Thanksgiving tablescape counts as 1-1/2 yards out. The placemats were on last month’s post.
I managed to get through guild meeting without picking up any new fabrics, so nothing came in this past month. Here are my totals for the month and year.

No room for multiple craft types right now. I have been sewing in the group craft room, making quilts for a senior center. That’s not my stay though, so it doesn’t count! Darn.

I have hit a wall. Have several quilt tops waiting to be quilted, but I have one on the frame that was giving me grief in May, and I just can’t get myself back in there to work on it. It was a combination of the thread breaking and my machine acting up. I may have to hand baste it and take it off the frame. If for nothing else, just to get my machine in for service…

Four quilts out equalled fabric in, but it feels like I’m backsliding. I’ve been knitting a lot for most of November, so there hasn’t been much progress in the sewing room. You sure had a successful guild visit, escaping without fabric! Eagerly awaiting details on the London quilt auction.

I’m a little zoned out with caring for my husband who fell and broke his arm a few weeks ago Not such a good thing for an 88 year old. Daughter did the heavy stuff before he was able to get up and down without help. I still managed to use up 1 yard. lol
