Stars on Autumn Lane Quilt Along for Autumn Jubilee ~ From My Carolina Home

Thank you to a lovely reader who asked about a pdf for the cutting instructions for Stars on Autumn Lane.  I can only say I just didn’t get to it and then forgot, in all the run up getting prize sponsors, completing two quilts, two other projects and writing three new patterns for a quilt along, sew along and stitch along and a new recipe.  But I have remedied that!  Here is a pdf with the first step cutting instructions, and I’ll do more for the next three steps as we get to them.  Stars on Autumn Lane Cutting Instructions.

I have read every comment, and I am delighted with your enthusiasm for this event!  I have also read the Facebook comments, and noted your shares, thank you for that!!  I am still figuring out Facebook, and I don’t have a good grasp on it yet, but know I do appreciate each and every one of your likes, shares and comments.  I only figured out today how to do a message on it.

I’d love it if you are on Twitter, to tweet about the quilt along, sew along and stitch along. My Twitter id is
@frmmycarolinahm so please include me in your tweet along with the #autumnjubilee2017 hashtag. I know some of you have been tweeting about it, but the hashtag isn’t showing me any tweets with it other than my own. Maybe I don’t know enough about Twitter either, LOL!! I am such a dinosaur, social media challenged.

Enjoy Autumn Jubilee!!  Are you having  fun?

  1. Dear husband distracted me yesterday, but I plan to start! You know I love some HST! I don’t get twitter either; but have been sharing away on Facebook. It’s fun to see 11 of my friends are following you now.

  2. Melanie

Having great fun reading your blogs, but no one is more media challenged than I am! LOL I bumble along, enjoying others’ wins, tho!

Hello Carole! I do alright in facebook, but in Twitter and Instagram I have accounts in both but I do not understand either one of them at all. I will go and share on face book today for you! How fabulous that you have taken the time and prepared a printable PDF for us! I will get mine printed out as soon as I can. Congrats to the winners of the first great prizes! I am sewing the blocks of one of the quilts into rows today, should have the whole quilt top done by the end of the day and the whole quilt finished by the end of the weekend. I will post pictures of it for you can see it. Have a great day!

Love following along although not doing this quilt at this time. Have too much on my plate right now. Enjoy your blog very much. Happy autumn!

Congratulations to the lucky winners!! I refuse to do Twitter or Instagram and I am dumping Facebook soon. Just think of the extra time I’ll have to quilt!! If I read a blog, I think making a comment on the blog is enough. I’m not going to sway any of my quilting friends by posting on the other places, because they don’t Twitter or Pinterest or Instagram either. I do love your quilt and thank you for the PDF instructions. I’m in the middle of making FOUR of your swing bags for Christmas gifts. Every time I tried to post on Craftsy to comment about your amazing pattern, our internet would go down. That is what happens when you live 38 miles past the back of nowhere!!! LOL!! Having FUN in October!!!

  6. Cut out sixty 4″ scrappy squares this morning! I’ll be cutting background squares and sewing up the HSTs soon! I’m in for the lap sized quilt. Thanks for the fun!

  7. Donna

Carole – you are so creative – I love your scrappy-type patterns. My Stars on Autumn Lane will get started next week. Thanks for the PDF pattern. Donna G.

Congrats to the winners!! Got all my fabric cut for the lap size I’m going to make! Now to get those HST’s done!!

  9. I am so anxious to start this quilt along, but have two other projects on my table so must wait. Needless to say, I am motivated to clear some space for this beauty! Thank you for a wonderful Autumn Jubilee, it has really lifted my spirits!

FB made me feel cro-magnon at first. I am now up to the hunting-gathering stage. It’s a process and you need a teen to interpret and teach! Thanks for the PDF!
