Time to get out the Halloween stamps and get our cards ready to send. It will be here before you know it! I got out all the Halloween inspired stamps and goodies, and began auditioning various looks. One thing I knew I wanted to use was a neat new embossing folder that had a spider web.
I embossed the spider web design on black cardstock.
Oh, yes, I like that. An orange ribbon is added going straight across.
I stamped a spider web with a goofy spider on orange cardstock, and mounted it on a purple cardstock frame. Then it was glued to the front, overlapping the ribbon.
Inside is stamped with a jack-o-lantern and Happy Halloween.
On the back, I added a witches hat to my personal stamp.
That witches hat gave me an idea. The witch shoes are in the same Stampin Up set called Wicked Cool. I remembered another stamp about shoes in another Stampin Up set called Humor in High Heels. I thought they would be a hoot together. Plus, how often can you use a striped paper? It reminded me of the stripes on the witch’s tights. So, I mounted a large square of rust and white striped paper on cream cardstock.
The sentiment is from Humor in High Heels, and the hat and shoes are from Wicked Cool. I mounted the element on green cardstock as a frame. Perfect together aren’t they?

Inside are some bats, with a cute saying.
I added the witches hat to my personal stamp on the backs of these too. I liked that idea so much I made three more, with different color combinations.
Of course the envelopes all got a stamp too.
Isn’t this fun?

Receiving a handmade card makes you feel special. Those you’ve made are adorable. I particularly like the funny ones with the witches. You chose your colors beautifully. 🙂
I have several Stampin Up! rubber stampers that I acquired from eBay or some other discount place. I was surprised to find out that there is a distributor near my home town, no one actually in my zipcode though. I like that their catalog is so easy to look up the different items and the selection is enormous. Not only stampers, but paper, embellishments, just what I need for card making. Which happens to be my second love after quilting. Thank you for the opportunity to win this giveaway and thank you for Stampin! Up for providing such a nice gift.
The hat and the shoes, so good. Stampin’ Up, what a wonderful selection, the copper sheets took my fancy.
Stampin Up is a quality company that has been around a long time. I am just now getting back in to card making and appreciate my local demonstrator, Gina, has monthly stamp camps so I can see the latest products and learn new techniques. The Paisley and Posies set is one that I have had my eye on and would love to win. Thanks!

I remember one year my daughters and I stamped all our Christmas cards – for over 100 folks on my list! They were lovely, and I adored the project and the time spent with my daughters….and I found glitter in my vacuum for a year afterwards! oh, how times have changed – now I don’t even mail Christmas cards. Sigh. But I still create wonderful memories with my daughters!

Your cards are absolutely adorable. I think I like the shoes and witches hat best, but I’m really drawn to the spider, too. All winners! I loved the card on the SIP challenge on the blog page – Christmas, but my mind is going there a lot lately. Only 73 more days!
I loved the Perfectly Wrapped Kits, the cards are also so cute!
Great cards Carole! I popped over to the website and was overwhelmed! As a novice card maker, what I liked was the kits or bundles they sell. The Jolly Friends, complete with the punch was very cute. I like the clear mounting blocks too. I’ve seen the product line on a You-Tube videos (Dawn’s Stampin’ Up) and wondered about the brand/costs etc. Thanks for sharing. Now we know your “source” for such fun cards!

Well I did enjoy the Halloween cards & inspiration, but when I ventured to Stampin’ Up! was simply mesmerized by the beautifully simple Peace, Love , joy card. I’m a sucker for a red bird in a snowtorm. . .
There are times when I regret giving away my Stampin’ Up stash, but never more so than when I see what you create with yours! Their creativity is inspiring – test tubes!? Who’da thunk? They have lots of accessories in colors to match their papers, they show you how to do so much more than cards, they tickle your imagination. As I do not stamp any more, please choose another entry should I win.
I’m not into Stamping, but do enjoy watching other’s creativeness! Should I win, share this with another who will enjoy their creativity.
I don’t stamp, but love that you do and share all that you create with the wonderful supplies available in the marketplace these days.
These would be fun to make and receive. Thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story, have a great week.
