It’s turkey time! My favorite day of the year is Thanksgiving. I love the food, the holiday spirit, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the football, making calls to friends, and all the anticipation of the holidays to come. Central to our celebration is a good meal, served with gratitude for all we have. Setting a beautiful festive table is part of the fun. This year, my Turkey Time Tablescape has 24 turkeys!

During my annual October event, Autumn Jubilee, we made some fun placemats using a fabric that featured large turkeys. See that post on Turkey Talk Placemats. Because eight of the turkeys are hidden, here are the placemats and a quick topper I sewed up this past week. I didn’t want to use a tablecloth, as I wanted the wood table to show. There are fussy cut turkeys, one on each placemat and four on the middle topper. There will be turkeys on the table when the dishes are cleared.

This year, I wanted to make the table glow in warm tones of brown and gold.

I chose gold chargers to anchor the plate stack, topped with white stoneware dinner plates and these special turkey salad plates. I love these plates, and we use them for meals all month. Gold tone flatware continues the warm feel.

At the top of each place setting, a little turkey place card holder can hold a name card, or a simple sentiment like Count Blessings.

I fan folded the napkins like a turkey feather tail and tucked the ends into a turkey napkin holder that says Happy Thanksgiving across the bottom.

Gold tone flatware glows on the placemats with turkey feather sides. Individual salt and pepper shakers are at each place.

The star of the centerpiece is one of my large ceramic turkeys. This one has the colors of the placemats with gold, brown and green, and a touch of blue.

The turkeys sit in a nest of fall leaves. Smaller ones sit on the sides.

On the back side of the largest turkey is another smaller ceramic turkey in brown and rust tones with some gold.

It is a Turkey Time Thanksgiving table. The largest turkey faces the middle of the den, so we can enjoy it all month long.

The table is gorgeous!
I love your turkeys! What a great table, Carole. And I’m like you — I use the turkey dishes all month long, because you’ve got to respect the bird!
So pretty! My favorite thing throughout autumn is how everything outdoors has a golden glow from the low angle of the sun’s rays. You captured that perfectly here.
So lovely! Every element just right!
Carole, your turkey and pumpkin plates are so pretty and you’ve styled such a festive table. I just saw your comment on my post–you are welcome for charcuterie or anytime, my friend! Blessings, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction
What a delightful table. I love the “Guest of Honor” in the middle of the table. He is just beautiful with his blues and golds, worthy of a seat of honor. Those napkin holders are so detailed and fun. Going to go check out some of your blog hop links!
Carole, your Turkey table is lovely. Love the stars of your table, wonderful ceramic turkeys with multiple colors. They steal the show! The fan folded napkins are so pretty with your napkin rings. I think I need some turkey plates. Yours look so festive. Always a pleasure to hop along with you.

As always, your quilted placemats and topper make a lovely statement. The plate stack with its gold and brown tones is warm and inviting. I love the turkey plates. I love all your pretty turkeys Carole! Your turkey place mats and table topper are wonderful, turkeys everywhere! The napkin folds are such a fun touch and I love how you nested the large turkey in leaves for the centerpiece. Have a lovely Thanksgiving enjoying this table!

I’m impressed that you go to make the holiday special this wonderful !!
Carole, You have done such beautiful work on your turkey placemats and runner. They would be stunning as wall hangings too. However, they worked perfect for your tablescape too with your coordinating plates with similar colors. The rich tones of brown, gold and touches of blue really creates an inviting table, especially with the prominent ceramic turkeys are centerpieces. I love the fan napkin fold which complements the turkey theme. It is such a heart-warming tablescape for Thanksgiving. Have a blessed time with your family.
The centerpiece turkeys are grand.
What a lovely tablescape. The quilt pieces are beautiful.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Your placemats with fussy cut turkeys and topper are beautiful! I love that there are turkeys on the table when the dishes are cleared away. 😊 What a wonderful collection of ceramic turkeys, joining your plates, fan folded napkins and napkin rings. Hope you’re enjoying more seasonal fall weather than we are with our 80 degree temps this week. Wishing you a wonderful season of Thanksgiving! 🦃
Carole, I have admired your handwork for several years now, and your Autumn Jubilee resulted in some beautiful yet utilitarian items in those gorgeous placemats and table centerpiece. The plates and turkey decor are so richly colorful, they make for an eye-catching tablescape, and even still when the dishes are cleared. I love your enthusiasm when describing your love for this holiday, and I appreciate you sharing that with readers by joining in this hop. Thank you!
Twenty-four turkeys all co-existing peacefully on the table! With one majestic tom to rule them all! Carole, you’ve designed a festive delight with harmonious colors. The placemats and table topper are lovely and I like the idea that they’re to be enjoyed before and after the meal. I especially like the salad plates, pretty colors with the ring of pumpkins. It’s fun hopping with you!
Your turkey tablescape (alone) is a feast for the eyes. WoW!

You are such a talent and inspiration!

Carole, your quilted placemats and table topper are wonderful! So glad you showed us those – before you covered them with your pretty place setting. Your turkey sure looks like the star of the table as he should!! Little does he know his cousin may actually be served up!! I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽🧡
Carole, your placemats are so fun! I love how you have fanned out your napkins! Your table is so cozy and welcoming, and your turkey centrepiece is a highlight! You are lucky to be able to watch the Macy’s parade! Being in Canada, we don’t have a holiday and that is work day for me 😦
