Autumn Jubilee is Coming!

For the sixth year, I’ll be hosting Autumn Jubilee the month of October. I’ve been working on getting some great giveaway prizes, designing projects and cooking up a new recipe.

I have put all the rules and tips for entering the contests on a Rules and Notices page. See that page to be sure you understand how to enter the upcoming drawings. In past years, there have been many disqualifications for entries not meeting the requirements of the entry, so be sure you know the rules and follow them.

Autumn Jubilee patterns remain on the blog, and free. To see previous year’s designs, read about making the projects, download patterns and be inspired, just click on the Autumn Jubilee category on my sidebar. Crafting is part of the event, too, like these wool acorns.

We do some projects by machine, and some by hand. Free wool applique patterns are a feature every year.

Some of the links within the posts will be affiliate links. Using them to purchase items featured or anything from the merchant using the link may earn a small commission for me. I appreciate every one who uses my links as they help pay the costs of writing a blog. I am delighted to announce that I now have Sulky Threads as one of my affiliates, see their fabulous new products at What’s New at Sulky!

There are also prizes for members of our Friends of From My Carolina Home Facebook group, ask to join and please answer the questions for quick approval.  Those not answering the questions (there are only three – agree to the rules and don’t play with elements for mystery quilt alongs) within 7 days will be declined.

Here’s a small logo you can use on your sidebar if you have a blog. Please link to the rules page for now, and I’ll have the updated launch link for you at the end of September. Putting this button on your sidebar will get you an extra entry in some of the drawings.

So, tell your friends to follow my blog, enter the giveaways and have some fun in October. Are you ready for Autumn, and Autumn Jubilee?

I have been enjoying your blog for some time thanks to Mary Deeter. Had my first in-person guild meeting yesterday since February 2020 and Mary let me know you will be our guest speaker in October. So glad I rejoined the guild this year.
    Looking forward to your visit.

Happy to see Autumn Jubilee return. I just made a table runner for The Table Scraps challenge at The Joyful Quilter using two pumpkins and a maple leaf I made during an earlier AJ and never finished the top. I still need to quilt it and add the binding, but that won’t take long. I’m not on Facebook, but I’ll send you a photo when it’s done.

Where do I find the pattern for the Autumn Jubilee quilt? It says on your blog (where I am), but can’t seem to find the pattern – it so pretty!
Love all your ‘stuff’! thanks, Dee

  4. Autumn Jubilee is always on my calendar! Guess I’d better get last year’s quilt bound before this year begins! lol Unfortunately I may run behind due to other commitments, but will definitely be following.

Good afternoon Carole, Trying to get some business done today and watched the Dr. OZ show and hey had a southern boil and a southern tomato tart which I love both. The tomato tart was made with green tomatoes, looked like beef steak and orange tomatoes and a smaller tomato She used a pie crust and added a pimento cheese filling with cream cheese, mayo and other items I didn’t get but it sounds delicious, will be getting that recipe for sure. Love the little acorns and the gold silky on the pillow leaves, very effective. The soup bowl is just the thing! Wish I could use a lot more of your gorgeous things but being by myself now I cann’t use that many beautiful items so just have to enjoy seeing them used in your mind. Phyllis

    Good
