Spring is just around the corner, and I am looking forward to warmer weather. Easter is in March, coming just ten days after St Patrick’s Day, another opportunity for a tablescape. But, I have much to finish this month, including a new recipe for Moda Bake Shop, so one tablescape will have to do for the whole month. With that in mind, I got out my rabbits as they say springtime to me. As long as they aren’t paired with eggs and baskets, they can stay out for weeks. The crystal-look napkin rings are a recent thrift store find.
I love this little guy in his lettuce.
Another recent thrift store score, I found these wonderful plates in springtime colors with the pretty scalloped edge. There were only a few, but I managed to find more on ebay to complete the set.
They have a deeper center, and can be salad plates or do fine for a sandwich. I placed them on white stoneware, and grass green woven placemats. Yellow napkins carry the spring fresh theme, echoing the center of the plates.
In the center, the white hyacinth is coming into bloom, and has the sweetest fragrance!
The White on White Table Runner is placed on the diagonal, and more rabbits are added. Beeswax candles flank the hyacinth.
These little guys are a salt and pepper set.
We will enjoy this setting for a couple weeks.
On the formal dining table, I just set a few rabbits and Easter baskets for the month. We don’t plan a big dinner this month. I started with the Stacked Bricks quilt in the pretty pastel colors. The pattern is available for free in my Craftsy store.
Isn’t this little snail cute?
Another bunny with a sweater on.
I still have my little Easter rabbit train. They are on the cookbook shelf, with the cookbook Eggs. Perfect, isn’t it?
